Intense Pulsed Light Therapy

ABOUT IPL PHOTO REJUVENATION

After spending time in the sun, it is natural for our skin to age and even become damaged—brown spots (or superficial pigmentation) and broken blood vessels (known as telangiectasia), can be noticeable on the skin. To reduce these unwanted occurrences, our centers recommend IPL Skin Rejuvenation (Intense Pulsed Light Therapy). Practically any part and any area of the skin with mild to moderate sun damage can be treated including face, neck, chest, back and hands.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

All light based Skin Rejuvenation treatments work by converting light energy from the IPL to heat the treated area. This heat stimulates the formation of collagen and elastin, which tightens the skin, lightens pigmentation, reduces telangiectasia, and ultimately – after a series of treatments – improves over-all skin tone, texture, and appearance.
