Cosmetic rhinoplasty reshapes the nose by removing or reshaping bone and cartilage, narrowing the nostrils, or changing the angle from the nose tip to the upper lip. Nose surgery usually takes two to four hours, and can be performed under local or general anesthesia on an outpatient basis.
